Friends of Champions for GodLeroy & Mobolene Ellett  Leroy Ellett was born and raised in Burnet Texas and raised in a Christian Family. Then to meet the love of his life at the age 20 years old Mobolene Richards. They soon marry as soon as he turned the legal age of 21. After being in the home building business in the beautiful hill country of Texas soon changed after about 10 years. They picked up and moved to Austin Texas for a new beginning that brought many blessing to there lives for 18 years. With the intentions of never returning back to the hill country. God had a plan according to Jeremiah 29:11. His plans and thoughts for them soon to find them right back where they first started. Moving back to Burnet Texas found the favor of God was truly on them to prosper. But there came a time in there life that the call of God was rising in there life. But Leroy was fighting this call for while until the Lord showed himself to be in charge of their life in spite of Leroy. There came a change in there life through the supernatural, They had found themselves taking care of a personal friend that truly needed help. Then they had taken a child in from being abandoned and the love of God showed them their new vision to be foster parents to abandoned and abused children. At this point of their life they had never conceived children of their own. They found themselves trying to adopt a child, but was turned down because of their age. But God had a plan according to Jeremiah 29:11 that took Leroy and Mobolene Ellett right where he wanted them from the beginning in the center of his will.
With ups and downs Leroy says God was always faithful their needs was always met. Many trials have they walked together but none have come between them. Truly Leroy and Mobolene are Gods people that walked in a love that many would want to have in their lives. But this kind of love can only come from the supernatural Lord God Jehovah himself. That one would lay down his life for someone else like Leroy and Mobolene have done for at least 23 children in their marriage life together. This is just a small discription of a 58 year marriage of pure love. AMEN
She is planning on getting a full scholarship to Tarelton and be on the rodeo team. She plans to be at the NFR (national finals rodeo) one day. When she doesn't have to rodeo she likes to hang out with her friends, go shopping, and she loves going to team roping. During the summer she likes to work out, swim, go on vacations. |
Megan is am 16 yrs. old, and a sophomore at Liberty Hill, TX. High School. She competes in High School Rodeo in Region X, and her events are barrel racing, breakaway roping, cutting, and team roping. Last year she competed in barrel racing and breakaway, and finished 2nd place in barrels, which gave her a slot at the State Finals. This year She was 7th place in barrel racing and 4th place in cutting, and those are the 2 events she is going to State in this year. She also made the Wrangle All Star team for barrel racing this year, and is also the barrel director for her region. She says, "I wouldn’t have made these great accomplishments without God in my life being there for me all the time. My family and I always pray before we leave our house and I always pray before my run."
